[Relation of a journey]. Sandys Travailes:
George Sandys (1578-1644) travelled in the Levant in 1610, spending a year in Turkey, Palestine and Egypt. His account of this journey first appeared in 1615 and his work was soon regarded as an important authority on the area, going into many editions.
