Sinbad Morekhod is from the 'gift series' published by Joseph Knebel which featured folktales from around the world. Benois said that each time a new book in the series was published it was as much of an event as a new art exhibit. In the spirit of the World of Art's philosophy that a printed publication should be a work of art, the typography, wrappers and vignettes were all intended to be in harmony together.
First edition, 4to (30.5 x 23 cm); 12pp., illustrations in colour after Glagloeva, minor soiling to margins; original printed wrappers, ownership stamp to upper cover, covers a little stained otherwise a very good, bright copy.
