Francis Frith (British, 1822-98). Between 1856 and 1860 Frith made 3 trips to Egypt and Palestine where he worked prolifically despite the difficulty of the wet collodion process. This process meant that Frith had to travel with many crates of chemicals and dark room equipment; Dimension: 160 x 225mm. (6.5 x 9 inches).

Albumen print. Very good tonal range and in good condition, mounted on original mount, photographers credit and number in negative.
